WEO is an all-women's group of like-minded people, united on the basis of shared vision of gender justice. Its leadership comprises women rights activists, with background of active struggle for social justice and women empowerment in Pakistan. WEO team enjoys versatile experience in women mobilization & organization, advocacy & lobbying for women and human rights related campaigns, actions and struggles.

    Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) is a women Rights nongovernmental- non-profit organization registered under voluntary social welfare Act 1961. The organization since its establishment in July 2008, work for betterment of vulnerable communities. WEO strives for partnership with community to develop a society based on three core values of sustainable human development: self esteem, freedom of choice and a society where everyone has equal access to opportunities, Health, education, livelihood and justice irrespective of gender and status. WEO has successfully implemented many projects with National& international donors. WEO works directly with communities at grass root level during project implementation. WEO has a strong base in KPK and FATA and strong outreach mechanisms throughout Pakistan. WEO has been able to implement number of projects with the active participation of targeted communities, technical and financial support of donor organizations including UN, INGOs and National organizations.

Many people would like to volunteer to help advance women's rights. WEO believes in capacity building of young students and university graduates in the area of women and human rights. A number of female students and volunteers have been trained through our internship program so far.
